District Technology Mission Statement
Students will use technology and electronic resources that support all students achieving high standards in standards-based content areas, support district goals, and assist in closing the achievement gap of less successful students.
Klug Mission Statement:
Ms. Klug has been working in the Computer Lab at Joe Henderson for several years and is still excited that she is teaching students to use technology to help their learning while also learning about technology. As we move into the second decade of the 21st century, it is crucial that our students can compete globally in a world where technology shapes our lives every day and in every way.
Going Green!
As we go about our daily lives, which include eating, going places, and washing ourselves, clothes, and home, we contribute to greenhouse gas emissions in the earth's atmosphere. That is called our "Carbon Footprint."

4th Grade:
- Learn and use technology to display their knowledge in Language Arts, Mathematics, Social Studies, and Science.
- Use Microsoft Word, AppleWorks Wordprocessing, Drawing, Painting, Internet Explorer, Study Island, enVision Math, and UltraKey Keyboard Tutor.
3rd Grade:
- Expand on technology basics and use it to display their knowledge in Language Arts, Mathematics, Social Studies, and Science.
- Use KidPix, Appleworks Drawing, Internet Explorer, Study Island, enVision Math, and UltraKey Keyboard Tutor
2nd Grade:
- Learn technology basics to display their knowledge in Language Arts, Mathematics, Social Studies, and Science.

1st Grade:
- Learn technology basics, such as, mouse control, locating their folder, and editing documents.

Always act responsibly while on the computer: Do not give out your personal information on the computer or while texting!
To avoid repetitive action injuries, such as carpal tunnel, use keyboard shortcuts frequently:
